I installed this the other day and it seems pretty cool so far. The online tutorials are straight forward enough and it seemed pretty easy to generate a jar file of my project that is easily portable. The thing I liked about Visual Studios .NET 2008 for C# was the code snippets that they have. Netbeans have something similar called code templates. The word “sout” expands out to System.Out.Println(“”); which is pretty cool and it seems like <ctrl space> is the double tab that I used in .NET. I haven’t been able to reproduce the really good “if” and “for” code templates like in .NET.
