Linux user for awhile

I’ve used Ubuntu has my primary O/S for almost 3 years now. I remember that when I quit  playing WoW, that I completely destroyed my Windows partition and went cold turkey into Linux.

I was fine actually since all I really needed was flash. During this time, installing plugins like flash and java became no problem and I was able to work fine on the internet. Hulu.com came out which was usable out of the box was awesome and I could just watch content on there for no problem. My favorite podcast/netcast networks of cnet.com and twit.tv have streaming video which worked awesomely in Linux as well.

All in all, the only thing I haven’t been able to do is switch over my iPod to a linux environment. The convenience of iTunes on my work computer just makes everything easier and plus I can sync it up with no issues right before I go to the gym at lunch! This makes listening to Buzz Out Loud and The 404 be as soon as possible instead of waiting til I get home to sync up.  One of these I’ll switch over and use something like gpodder to get things going, but for now, I’m still stuck inWindows for a bit.
